The Sony SRS-XP700 is the better-sounding, deeper-bass option. Dual 6.69” woofers, multi-tweeter X-Balanced Speaker Units with rear tweeter for 360 effect. Its bass reaches about 50Hz before falling 10dB, against 60Hz for the Soundcore Rave+. It supports LDAC Bluetooth, which the Soundcore Rave+ lacks. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Soundcore Rave+ lacks. Watch for: Weird midrange peak.
The Soundcore Rave+ is the lighter option. Excellent sound quality praised by customers with clarity, definition, and bass response. At 7.7 lbs (3.49 kg) it weighs much less than the Sony SRS-XP700 at 37.3 lbs (16.9 kg). The tradeoff: Pretty big lack of deep bass.
