Short answer: the Soundcore Rave+ for sound quality, the Soundcore Rave for battery life, though neither ranks well in its class. The Rave+ at $240 is praised by customers for clarity, definition and bass response, though it still lacks deep bass. The Rave at $220 claims a 20,000mAh battery for 24 hours of play, but also has a pretty big lack of deep bass and rolled-off treble. Both are rated below 3.0/5 among the 53 party speakers, so if sound quality matters, consider the Onn XL Wireless Party Speaker instead, ranked #11 at $249.
Buy the Soundcore Rave+ only if you find one used in good condition; both are discontinued, and it is the better rated of the two. For a new speaker, buy the Soundcore Rave 3S, which replaces the Soundcore Rave.
