The JBL Partybox 300 is the better-sounding, deeper-bass pick. Exceptional sound quality with crisp, crystal clear highs and midranges, hard punchy bass without muddiness. Its bass reaches about 40Hz before falling 10dB, against 60Hz for the Soundcore Rave. The tradeoff: Hard to carry, too tall, drags on the ground.
The Soundcore Rave is the longer-running, lighter choice. 20,000mAh battery for 24-hour claimed playtime. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 18 for the JBL Partybox 300. Cons: Hard to carry, too tall, drags on the ground. Max spl and bass extension are only as good as the JBL Partybox 100. No real reason to ever get one, get a JBL Partybox 100 instead. Discontinued.
