Short answer: the JBL Partybox 110. It ranks #7 of 44 party speakers at $299.95; the JBL Partybox 300 ranks #8 and costs $300, so there is not much of a tradeoff to weigh.
What the JBL Partybox 110 gets right: Very neutral sound, slightly better than the Partybox 100. Set against that: Bass isn’t as deep as the Partybox 100. Just as loud and slightly deeper than a Stormbox Blast which is way smaller with better sound.
On the JBL Partybox 300 side: Exceptional sound quality with crisp, crystal clear highs and midranges, hard punchy bass without muddiness. The tradeoff: Hard to carry, too tall, drags on the ground.
One note: the JBL Partybox 300 is discontinued, but it still ranks #8 of 44 party speakers, ahead of most of what is still sold new, so it is worth considering used.
Buy the JBL Partybox 110 if the ranking matters more than the price. Buy the JBL Partybox 300 if the price matters more than the ranking.
