Short answer: the JBL Partybox Club 120, if you are buying new. The JBL Partybox 100 ranks higher than the Ultimate Ears Hyperboom (#8 vs #29 of 46 party speakers) but is discontinued; its replacement, the JBL Partybox Club 120, is rated 4.5/5 at $349.95 and is still sold new.
The JBL Partybox 100 is the better-sounding, deeper-bass choice. Quite neutral sound, pretty deep bass. Its bass reaches about 41Hz before falling 10dB, against 55Hz for the Ultimate Ears Hyperboom. Watch for: A slight peak in the upper mids.
The Ultimate Ears Hyperboom is the longer-running, lighter option. Strong audio performance with 2x 4.5” woofers, 2x 1” tweeters, 2x passive radiators. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 12 for the JBL Partybox 100. At 13 lbs (5.9 kg) it weighs much less than the JBL Partybox 100 at 21.4 lbs (9.7 kg). It links with other speakers (PartyUp up to 50 speakers), which the JBL Partybox 100 cannot. The catch: Very expensive for what it does, a bit dull and muddy sound.
Buy the JBL Partybox Club 120, the replacement for the discontinued JBL Partybox 100; it is rated higher for sound quality than the Ultimate Ears Hyperboom.

Pros: Quite neutral sound, pretty deep bass. Measured bass extension of 41Hz (-10dB).
Cons: A slight peak in the upper mids. Slight TWS issue where the 2nd is slightly delayed. Just as loud and slightly deeper bass than a Tribit Stormbox Blast which is way smaller with better sound quality. Discontinued.
