The Club 120 picks up features the 100 never had. It adds IPX4 splash resistance, versus no water resistance at all on the 100, Auracast party-mode pairing, which the 100 lacks entirely, an app with a 5-band EQ, and a removable battery. Reviewers also credit it with deeper bass than both the 100 and the 110. Charging is faster too, at 3.5 hours versus the 100’s 6.5.
What the 100 still has going for it: reviewers call its sound quite neutral with pretty deep bass, with its only real complaints being a slight peak in the upper mids and a minor TWS pairing delay.
Buy the JBL Partybox Club 120. It ranks higher for sound quality than the Partybox 100 and costs less, so there is no real case for the other one.
