The JBL Partybox 300 is the better-sounding, deeper-bass pick. Exceptional sound quality with crisp, crystal clear highs and midranges, hard punchy bass without muddiness. Its bass reaches about 40Hz before falling 10dB, against 60Hz for the Sony GTK-XB60. The catch: Hard to carry, too tall, drags on the ground.
The Sony GTK-XB60 is the lighter choice. 60W powerful sound performance with extra-bass technology for deep, punchy output. At 17.6 lbs (8 kg) it weighs much less than the JBL Partybox 300 at 35.3 lbs (16 kg). It supports LDAC Bluetooth, which the JBL Partybox 300 lacks. Cons: Hard to carry, too tall, drags on the ground. Max spl and bass extension are only as good as the JBL Partybox 100. No real reason to ever get one, get a JBL Partybox 100 instead. Discontinued.
