LG Xboom Bounce vs Sony ULT Field 3

Last updated: October 11, 2026

These are not really the same size class, and that is the honest framing here. The LG Xboom Bounce ranks #33 of 105 large speakers by sound quality at $98; the Sony ULT Field 3 ranks #75 of 175 medium speakers by sound quality at $208.

LG Xboom Bounce vs Sony ULT Field 3

Why pick the LG Xboom Bounce: Unique spherical design. It keeps a wired aux input, which the Sony ULT Field 3 lacks. The catch: Bass extension not as deep as the top speakers.

The case for the Sony ULT Field 3: IP67 rated, dustproof and water resistant. It supports LDAC Bluetooth, which the LG Xboom Bounce lacks. The tradeoff: Sounds a bit hollow, a bit boosted in the treble.

Buy the LG Xboom Bounce at $98 for a large speaker, or the Sony ULT Field 3 at $208 for a medium speaker instead.
