The Zealot S95 is the better-sounding choice. A good value for the boombox class. It has an adjustable EQ, which the JBL Boombox lacks. The tradeoff: A little rolled off up top and not that balanced through the rest of the range.
The JBL Boombox is the longer-running pick. Claimed 24 hours (manufacturer specified) battery life, ipx5 protection and stereo playback make its feature set practical for its intended room or portable use. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 12 for the Zealot S95. The catch: Treble is not very smooth.
Buy the Zealot S95. It is rated higher for sound quality; the JBL Boombox is no longer sold new.

Pros: A good value for the boombox class. Appears to be the same internals as the Zealot ZE01. Bigger case and goes deeper than the Zealot ZE01. Measured bass extension of 45Hz (-10dB).
Cons: A little rolled off up top and not that balanced through the rest of the range. Clarity isn’t as good as better speakers.
