The Sony ULT Field 3 is the better-sounding, longer-running choice. IP67 rated, dustproof and water resistant. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 8 for the Harman Kardon Esquire 2. It is rated IP67 against IPX4 for the Harman Kardon Esquire 2. It supports LDAC Bluetooth, which the Harman Kardon Esquire 2 lacks. The tradeoff: Sounds a bit hollow, a bit boosted in the treble.
