If you want one new, the Sony SRS-XV500 replaces the Sony GTK-XB60 and is rated 4.0/5 at $299.
The Sony SRS-XP700 is the better-sounding, deeper-bass pick. Dual 6.69” woofers, multi-tweeter X-Balanced Speaker Units with rear tweeter for 360 effect. Its bass reaches about 50Hz before falling 10dB, against 60Hz for the Sony GTK-XB60. It is rated for 25 hours of battery against 14 for the Sony GTK-XB60. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Sony GTK-XB60 lacks. The catch: Weird midrange peak.
The Sony GTK-XB60 is the lighter choice. 60W powerful sound performance with extra-bass technology for deep, punchy output. At 17.6 lbs (8 kg) it weighs much less than the Sony SRS-XP700 at 37.3 lbs (16.9 kg). The tradeoff: No deep bass at all, weird midrange peak, rolled off treble and overall strange tuning.
