The JBL Charge 4 is the better-sounding, longer-running pick. Doubles as a power bank for charging phones/tablets. It is rated for 20 hours of battery against 12 for the Sony SRS-XB20. It is rated IPX7 against IPX5 for the Sony SRS-XB20. It charges over USB-C rather than Micro USB. The tradeoff: 1 Oval driver.
