Last updated: October 11, 2026

Bose SoundLink Plus vs Sonos Roam 2

The Bose SoundLink Plus is the longer-running, tougher option. IP67 rated, IP67 water/dustproof. It is rated for 20 hours of battery against 10 for the Sonos Roam 2. It is rated IP67 against IPX5 for the Sonos Roam 2. It plays in stereo from a single unit, unlike the Sonos Roam 2. Watch for: Boosted thuddy bass, but not as deep as the SoundLink Flex and you should probably just buy one of those instead if you want a Bose.

The Sonos Roam 2 is the lighter pick. Very neutral. At 0.9 lbs (429 g) it weighs much less than the Bose SoundLink Plus at 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg).
