JBL Boombox 2 vs W-King H10

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Short answer: both are discontinued, so this only matters if you are buying used. Used, the JBL Boombox 2 is the better pick: it ranks #43 of 98 boombox speakers by sound quality (rated 3.5/5), against #75 (rated 2.7/5) for the W-King H10. If you want one new, the JBL Boombox 4 replaces the JBL Boombox 2 and is rated 4.0/5 at $549.95.

JBL Boombox 2 vs W-King H10

The JBL Boombox 2 is the better-sounding, deeper-bass pick. 24 hour battery life (default volume); 20+ hours even at 60% volume. Its bass reaches about 46Hz before falling 10dB, against 54Hz for the W-King H10. It links with other speakers (PartyBoost up to 100 speakers), which the W-King H10 cannot. The tradeoff: Somewhat bass heavy and boomy.

The W-King H10 is the louder, lighter option. Comes with wireless microphone. Alan Ross Reviews measured it at 115dB at full volume, against 108dB for the JBL Boombox 2. At 7.1 lbs (3.2 kg) it weighs much less than the JBL Boombox 2 at 13 lbs (5.9 kg). It has a microphone input for karaoke or announcements, which the JBL Boombox 2 lacks. Watch for: Not very deep bass.

Buy the JBL Boombox 2 only if you find one used in good condition; both are discontinued, and it is the better rated of the two. For a new speaker, buy the JBL Boombox 4, which replaces the JBL Boombox 2.
