The Bose Soundlink Revolve is the better-sounding option. True 360° sound stays consistent no matter where you stand around it, unlike most portable speakers. It keeps a wired aux input, which the Soundcore Flare 2 lacks. The tradeoff: Strange sizzling treble, peaks and dips.
The Soundcore Flare 2 is the tougher pick. Try Alan Ross’s EQ for it. It is rated IPX7 against IPX4 for the Bose Soundlink Revolve. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Bose Soundlink Revolve lacks.
