#20 Gustard X26 Pro eBay
Pros: Audio Science Review measured a SINAD of 120 dB, so its noise and distortion sit well below audibility and it is effectively transparent. It takes nearly every digital source you could want, with USB, I2S over HDMI, coaxial, AES, optical, BNC and Bluetooth 5.0 with LDAC, aptX HD and AAC. Balanced XLR and RCA line outputs let it feed a headphone amp, powered speakers or a stereo amplifier.
Cons: Several rivals such as the SMSL D400ES and Topping D70 Pro SABRE match its rating while measuring a few dB cleaner, a difference you will not hear but one that removes any edge here. At 330 mm wide and 260 mm deep it is a full size component that needs real shelf space, and it has no headphone output of its own.
