Turtlebox Grande Specifications and Review

The Turtlebox Grande ranks #51 out of 68 total Boombox Size Portable Bluetooth Speakers for sound quality. See Top Recommended Speakers By Attribute for all the top speaker suggestions.

#51 Turtlebox Grande: $730.00 Amazon

Pros: Insanely loud at 126dB with a 10-inch woofer. IP67 submersible shell with crush-proof ABS exterior. 158Wh battery provides ~3 days of playback. Bluetooth 5.4, party mode (100+ speakers).

Cons: They pretty much lie about all their specs and sound just okay in all youtube sound samples. Only 100w will never hit 126db at a reasonable measuring distance. Putting your db meter right against the speaker doesn’t count, 1 meter distance is the standard. Barely any bass for a 10” woofer. Overpriced and not worth it.

How it compares: Just above it: W-King D10 - $630 cheaper, 17 more hours of battery life. Just below it: Bumpboxx Flare 8 - $330 cheaper, 13 fewer hours of battery life.
