What the JBL Boombox 4 offers: Pretty insane output capability for the size, with 7-band EQ for better tuning than the Boombox 3. Set against that: It’s overpriced for the category, sounds worse than the Boombox 3 out of the box, and drops Aux input entirely.
What the Turtlebox Grande gets right: 10-inch woofer. IP67 submersible shell with crush-proof ABS exterior. 158Wh battery provides ~3 days of playback. The tradeoff: They pretty much lie about all their specs and sound just okay in all youtube sound samples.
Buy the JBL Boombox 4. It ranks higher for sound quality than the Turtlebox Grande and costs less, so there is no real case for the other one.

Pros: Pretty insane output capability for the size.
Cons: Pretty overpriced for the category. Better than the Boombox 3 mostly because there are more 7 EQ bands instead of just 3 and it can be better tuned. Try Oluv’s EQ for it. Out of the box sounds worse than the Boombox 3. No Aux input.

Pros: 10-inch woofer. IP67 submersible shell with crush-proof ABS exterior. 158Wh battery provides ~3 days of playback. Bluetooth 5.4, party mode (100+ speakers).
Cons: They pretty much lie about all their specs and sound just okay in all youtube sound samples. Only 100w will never hit 126db at a reasonable measuring distance. Putting your db meter right against the speaker doesn’t count, 1 meter distance is the standard. Barely any bass for a 10” woofer. Overpriced and not worth it.
