Short answer: the Turtlebox Grande, if you are buying new. The EarFun Uboom X ranks higher than it (#1 vs #71 of 91 boombox speakers, 4.7/5 vs 2.6/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Turtlebox Grande is still sold new at $730.
The case for the Turtlebox Grande: 10-inch woofer. The tradeoff: In YouTube sound samples it sounds only okay, and bass is shallow for a 10 inch woofer, only down 10dB at about 55Hz.
The EarFun Uboom X is the better-sounding, deeper-bass option. Tuned by Oluv and he knocked it out of the park again. Its bass reaches about 38Hz before falling 10dB, against 55Hz for the Turtlebox Grande. At 9 lbs (4.1 kg) it weighs much less than the Turtlebox Grande at 18.8 lbs (8.53 kg). It supports AAC Bluetooth, which the Turtlebox Grande lacks. The tradeoff: The out of the box 0.33 firmware and EQ sounds horrible.
Buy the Turtlebox Grande if you want one new; the EarFun Uboom X is discontinued, so only look for it used.

Pros: 10-inch woofer. IP67 submersible shell with crush-proof ABS exterior. 158Wh battery provides ~3 days of playback. Bluetooth 5.4, party mode (100+ speakers). Measured bass extension of ~55Hz (-10dB).
Cons: In YouTube sound samples it sounds only okay, and bass is shallow for a 10 inch woofer, only down 10dB at about 55Hz. It is rated at just 86W, and like the smaller Turtleboxes it won’t reach its claimed 126dB at a standard one meter distance. Expensive for what it delivers. It charges only from its own barrel plug adapter, not USB-C.

EarFun Uboom X: $159.99 Discontinued eBay
Pros: Tuned by Oluv and he knocked it out of the park again. Deeper bass than the Tribit Stormbox Blast. Extremely neutral, possibly the best of any modern Bluetooth speaker slightly behind the Vifa Helsinki. This is the only speaker that sounds correct at every single volume level due to Oluv’s individual EQ settings at each volume level. Other speakers will need a different EQ at each volume level. Amazing sounding at low levels as it boosts bass and treble at low levels to account for the equal-loudness contour. Just considering the midrange and treble, this speaker is better sounding than the EarFun Uboom L. Measured bass extension of ~38Hz (-10dB).
Cons: The out of the box 0.33 firmware and EQ sounds horrible. Some users have reported sound interruption issues when running two in TWS, though not on every source device, and disabling AAC resolves it where it occurs. Discontinued.
Setup: Please update it using the Earfun app (Android or iOS) and select an Oluv EQ. The Earfun app has sound profiles created by Oluv for Studio, Indoor, Indoor+, Outdoor, Outdoor+, BOOM xxX, and Ground 0 which are all fantastic. Oluv has a newer firmware pack that brings it up a few more notches of neutral
