Both are rated below 3.0/5 among the 91 boombox speakers, and the Tribit Stormbox Blast, ranked #2 at $199.99, is a better place to start if sound quality matters.
What the Turtlebox Grande does well: 10-inch woofer. It links with other speakers (Turtlebox Party Mode), which the ZZA K8 cannot. The catch: In YouTube sound samples it sounds only okay, and bass is shallow for a 10 inch woofer, only down 10dB at about 55Hz.
The ZZA K8 is the lighter choice. Completely insane value for the money. At 6.8 lbs (3.1 kg) it weighs much less than the Turtlebox Grande at 18.8 lbs (8.53 kg). The tradeoff: Very V curve frequency response, can be harsh in the treble range.
Buy the Turtlebox Grande new; the ZZA K8 is no longer sold new, so it only makes sense as a used find.

Cons: In YouTube sound samples it sounds only okay, and bass is shallow for a 10 inch woofer, only down 10dB at about 55Hz. It is rated at just 86W, and like the smaller Turtleboxes it won’t reach its claimed 126dB at a standard one meter distance. Expensive for what it delivers. It charges only from its own barrel plug adapter, not USB-C.

Pros: Completely insane value for the money. Comes with 2 metal body wireless microphones that are USB-C chargeable. Comes with Chinese labeled infrared remote control. Has voice delete function that works quite well. Adjustable microphone reverb. Pretty good build quality. The default EQ is the most balanced, the other two sound muffled.
Cons: Very V curve frequency response, can be harsh in the treble range. Treble is boosted a good +10dB. Midbass is recessed. Slight distortion issue at all volume levels due to the bass high pass filter being set too low. Discontinued and no longer sold new.
