#3 Tribit Stormbox Lava: $100 Amazon Aliexpress eBay

Pros: Fantastic bass extension. Goes deeper than the Boom 2 as seen in the linked video of sound samples. Firmware 2.0.0 is a big improvement in neutrality.

Cons: Quite heavy for the size. Some bass boost way down low. Treble and upper mids have some peaks.

Setup: Try out the Alan Ross EQ’s at this timestamp in his video There’s also a max bass EQ from Oluv and you can turn down the lowest slider for it to be more neutral

How it compares: Just above it: JBL Xtreme 5 - $199 more, 4 more hours of battery life. Just below it: Brane X - $400 more, 12 fewer hours of battery life.
