Short answer: it comes down to the deepest bass against stereo, the Xsound Mega for depth, the Stormbox Lava for a more complete speaker. The Xsound Mega claims the deepest bass of any medium size speaker but uses a single driver and is not stereo. The Lava also has fantastic bass extension, but it is quite heavy for the size.
Buy the Tribit Stormbox Lava at $139.99 for a large speaker, or the Tribit Xsound Mega at $71.61 for a medium speaker instead.
