Same family: the RCF NX 910-A (smaller model, rated 3.5/5), the RCF NX 912-A (smaller model, ranked lower, rated 4/5), the RCF NX 915-A (larger model, rated 3.6/5) and the RCF NX 945-A (larger model, rated 4.1/5).

Pros: A powerful 12 inch PA speaker in a plywood cabinet with a large compression driver, built for clear vocals over wide areas. A 3-inch titanium compression-driver diaphragm, 100° x 70° coverage and plywood cabinet make it especially capable for clear vocals over wide areas. The 2100W amplifier, advanced RCF processing and 132dB peak claim support serious main-speaker use. Measured bass extension of 61.5Hz (-3dB).

Cons: The medium-quality Spinorama measurement is truncated and cannot generate a preference score, so its high position relies partly on response/directivity curves and published engineering. At 22.9kg it is significantly heavier than the RCF ART 932-A.

Frequency Response

How the RCF NX 932-A measures across the audible range. A flatter listening window (the sound arriving straight at you) is more neutral: peaks sound forward or harsh, dips sound recessed. The estimated in-room response adds what a typical room does, and there a gentle, even tilt down toward the treble is ideal. Both curves are shifted so their 300 Hz to 3 kHz average sits at 0 dB.

EQ for a Neutral Response

Flattens the measured listening window from the RCF NX 932-A's own bass extension up to 16 kHz. Set a preamp of -1.8 dB, then add these filters to any parametric equalizer in the signal path: the speaker's app or DSP if it has parametric EQ, a miniDSP, Equalizer APO or Wavelet. Boosts are kept to 3 dB, and EQ cannot fix how evenly the speaker spreads sound off-axis, which is why some speakers gain more than others. Calculated by Speaker Ranking from the spinorama measurements above.
