Short answer: choose between the RCF NX 932-A and Yamaha DXR12mkIII for the deployment, not from the automatic ranking alone. Their driver format, power requirements, coverage, bass reach, output capability, and control features determine which is the more practical PA for a particular room or system.
The case for the RCF NX 932-A. A 3-inch titanium compression-driver diaphragm, 100° x 70° coverage and plywood cabinet make it especially capable for clear vocals over wide areas. The 2100W amplifier, advanced RCF processing and 132dB peak claim support serious main-speaker use.
The case for the Yamaha DXR12mkIII. The third-generation DXR raises claimed output to 134dB and adds 2000W amplification, app-based control and more capable onboard DSP while staying light at 38.4 lbs (17.4 kg). Medium-quality vendor data shows measured extension around 60Hz.
Important trade-offs. The medium-quality Spinorama measurement is truncated and cannot generate a preference score, so its high position relies partly on response/directivity curves and published engineering. At 50.5 lbs (22.9 kg) it is significantly heavier than the ART 932-A. The truncated Spinorama data does not produce a preference score, so its tonal advantage over the proven DXR12mkII is not yet quantified. Wireless connectivity is for remote control, not a substitute for a wired production-audio input.
Buy the RCF NX 932-A when its stated format, coverage, and system features fit the job better.
