The NX 932-A steps up the compression driver and coverage. It runs a 3-inch titanium compression-driver diaphragm against the ART 912-A’s smaller 1-inch driver with a 1.75-inch voice coil, and spreads sound over a wider 100° x 70° pattern compared with the ART 912-A’s 100° x 60°. Both share the same 2,100W peak amplifier rating and RCF’s FiRPHASE processing, but the NX 932-A adds Bass Motion Control and a plywood cabinet against the ART 912-A’s polypropylene composite build, at the cost of extra weight: 50.5 lbs (22.9 kg) versus 41.9 lbs (19 kg).
