Pros: The Diamond 11 series bookshelf that followed both the Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 and the Wharfedale Diamond 220, with curved cabinet sides, a 5” woven Kevlar woofer, a new textile dome tweeter and a bottom slot port. What Hi-Fi praised its refined, insightful midrange and fuller bass than the 220.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared with ranked speakers. Rated bass reaches only 55Hz, so a subwoofer helps for full-range listening, and What Hi-Fi found its bass less solid than some rivals. It has been replaced by the Wharfedale Diamond 12.1. Discontinued.
