Short answer: the Tronsmart T8. It ranks #56 of 166 medium speakers by sound quality, rated 3.6/5, at $49.99. The Xdobo X8 ranks #149, rated 2.3/5, at $35, $14.99 cheaper, not enough of a saving to outweigh the sound-quality gap.
The Tronsmart T8 is the better-sounding, tougher pick. Two upward firing drivers, a woofer and two passive radiators spread sound evenly around the speaker, so placement matters less. It is rated IPX7 against IPX5 for the Xdobo X8. The catch: Against the Xiaomi Sound Outdoor, listeners in Mateusz Cholewa’s comparison found the T8 harsh and tiring, and Techder Audios’ test showed the Xiaomi Sound Party with deeper, heavier bass.
The case for the Xdobo X8: A compact 1.9 lbs (860 g) speaker with a useful practical feature set: IPX5 splash resistance, USB-C charging, aux and microSD playback, speakerphone and TWS pairing. The tradeoff: The single full-range driver is the limitation.
Buy the Tronsmart T8. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the $14.99 saving on the Xdobo X8 is not enough to make up the difference.

Older model: the Tronsmart T7 (ranked lower, rated 2.8/5). See every Tronsmart T7 and T8 generation.
Same family: the Tronsmart T8 Mini (smaller model, rated 2.7/5).
Pros: Two upward firing drivers, a woofer and two passive radiators spread sound evenly around the speaker, so placement matters less. In AudioPro Reviews’ and Dresser’s comparisons most listeners preferred it to the JBL Flip 6, JBL Flip 7 and Ultimate Ears Megaboom 3 for its fuller body and less fatiguing treble, and Audioreviews.org found it stayed clean at maximum volume. It is rated for 40W, with IPX7 waterproofing, an 18 hour battery rating, app EQ, lights, a volume wheel, aux input, TF card playback, a lanyard and stereo pairing.
Cons: Against the Xiaomi Sound Outdoor, listeners in Mateusz Cholewa’s comparison found the T8 harsh and tiring, and Techder Audios’ test showed the Xiaomi Sound Party with deeper, heavier bass. Josh’s Gadgets and More preferred the cheaper Vortex Blast for smoother highs and deeper bass. Bass is rated only down to 56Hz.

Xdobo X8: $35 eBay
Pros: A compact 860g speaker with a useful practical feature set: IPX5 splash resistance, USB-C charging, aux and microSD playback, speakerphone and TWS pairing. Reviews consistently find it surprisingly loud and full-bodied for the size, making it a plausible inexpensive outdoor/background-music option. Measured bass extension of ~65Hz (-10dB).
Cons: The single full-range driver is the limitation. Reviews note a harsh midrange, rolled-off treble and audible distortion, while bass extension is only about 65Hz. It can play loud, but it does not have the clarity or control for attentive listening.
