#107 Wharfedale Diamond 12.4i: $1,498 per pair Estimated Music Direct eBay
Older model: the Wharfedale Diamond 12.4 (ranked lower, estimated 4.1/5). See every Wharfedale Diamond generation.
Same family: the Wharfedale Diamond 12.0i (smaller bookshelf, estimated 3.2/5), the Wharfedale Diamond 12.1i (larger bookshelf, estimated 4/5), the Wharfedale Diamond 12.3i (smaller floorstanding, ranked lower, estimated 4/5) and the Wharfedale Diamond 12.Ci (center, estimated 3.6/5).
Pros: The largest tower in Wharfedale’s 2025 Diamond 12i range and the update of the Wharfedale Diamond 12.4, keeping its twin 6.5” Klarity woofers and 2.5-way layout in a 40.8L cabinet with a refined port and damping. Rated to 40Hz (±3dB) at 89dB sensitivity, it fills a larger room without a subwoofer.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared with ranked speakers. The changes over the 12.4 are refinements rather than new drivers, and at 22.4 kg per speaker it needs room to breathe away from walls.
