Brand: Power Sound Audio
#17 Power Sound Audio (PSA) XS15-BASE: $1,299 Discontinued eBay
Pros: A sealed 15 inch subwoofer in a heavier base cabinet with strong, controlled bass, now discontinued but worth buying used. The 15 inch driver reaches 118.2dB CEA-2010-A average from 40 to 63Hz, enough for a large room. A 550W RMS amplifier with 1650W peak is rated 23 to 200Hz within 3dB. Output at 20Hz is 107dB, so it still plays deep.
Cons: Output at 20Hz and below is about 107dB, much lower than in the midbass, so the deepest effects are limited. It weighs 33.1kg and is 527mm tall by 470mm wide. It is discontinued, so it can only be bought used. The CEA-2010 average covers only three of the four bands.
