Short answer: the XS15-BASE, on the strength of 118.2dB CEA-2010-A output and deeper extension. The plain XS15 is a 15-inch sealed sub with 550W RMS that reaches the Bassaholic Large Room category, but the BASE variant adds 118.2dB average output plus deeper bass extension and slower room modes. The two are priced the same at $1,299, so the measurement advantage settles it.
Buy the Power Sound Audio (PSA) XS15 or the Power Sound Audio (PSA) XS15-BASE, whichever you find used in better condition; both are discontinued. For a new speaker, start with the HSU Research ULS-15 MK2 instead.
