The Soundboks 2 is about raw outdoor volume. Its removable battery is rated for up to 40 hours, and its two combo mic or instrument inputs make it workable for informal performances as well as parties. It is also stereo. However, it has no weather rating, app EQ, multi-speaker mode, or TWS pairing, and its tonal balance and bass depth are less refined than stronger modern party speakers. Because it is discontinued, battery condition, charging hardware, and support availability are part of the purchase decision.
The Bose is the more polished small-event tool.
