Pros: A ported SVS subwoofer with deep extension, app control with EQ, and a long warranty, now discontinued. It has a 10-inch driver with a 300W RMS amplifier and a rated response of 19 to 270Hz. Measured output averages 111.3dB from 40 to 80Hz and reaches 101.2dB at 20Hz. The SVS app controls volume, crossover, parametric EQ, polarity and room gain, and it has a 5-year warranty.
Cons: Output drops to 93.3dB at 15Hz and 101.2dB at 20Hz, so it gives less impact in the lowest octave than larger ported subs. The cabinet is 480.1H x 381.0W x 492.8D mm and weighs 20.9 kg. It is discontinued and replaced by the SVS PB-1000 PRO, so buying means finding one used.
