#20 Polk Audio DSW PRO 660: $699 Discontinued eBay

Pros: A down ported 12 inch subwoofer with deep, floor shaking bass and clean control for movies and music, now discontinued. The 12 inch driver has a 400W RMS amplifier and is rated 25 to 125Hz. Measured output averages 119.4dB from 40 to 80Hz, with 122.0dB at 63Hz, plenty for a large room. Output stays at 110.7dB at 31.5Hz, so it delivers real deep bass impact.

Cons: Output falls to 98.0dB at 25Hz and 88.0dB at 20Hz, so the lowest octave is limited. At 20.4kg and 435 x 419 x 419mm it is a large, heavy cabinet. It is discontinued, so you must buy used, and it has no app or room correction listed.
