Pros: A sealed 15 inch subwoofer with forceful, clean low bass that can fire forward or down, with room correction for several seats. It has a 15-inch sealed driver with a 650W RMS, 1300W peak amplifier, and measured output averages 116.5dB from 40 to 80Hz. It can be set to fire forward or downward for flexible placement. PBK room correction calibrates the bass across multiple listening positions.
Cons: Output drops to 100.4dB at 20Hz and 92.9dB at 12.5Hz, which is typical of a sealed design and leaves less room for the deepest effects than a ported 15 inch. It weighs 23.6 kg in a 465 x 425 x 447 mm cabinet. It is discontinued and replaced by the MartinLogan Dynamo 1600X, so it can only be bought used.
