Pros: A budget ported 12 inch subwoofer with big output and deep bass for the money. It uses a 12 inch driver with a 200W RMS amplifier and a Venturi vent design with dual flared ports. Measured output averages 115.4dB from 40 to 80Hz and still reaches 94.9dB at 20Hz, which is plenty for a medium to large room. It is rated 23 to 180Hz.
Cons: The cabinet is large at 470 by 432 by 356mm and weighs 18.6kg, so it needs real floor space. Output at 20Hz is 94.9dB, so the very lowest effects are much quieter than the upper bass. A ported design can add port noise and a slightly looser sound than a sealed one. The warranty is 7 years on the driver and 2 on the amplifier.
