Pros: A budget ported 10 inch subwoofer for small rooms, with quiet ports, auto on and speaker level inputs. The 10 inch driver is paired with a 160W RMS amplifier and a Venturi vent designed to reduce port noise. Measured output averages 114.9dB from 40 to 80Hz and reaches 104.0dB at 31.5Hz, which is plenty for a small room. Automatic signal sensing and high level inputs make it easy to connect to a receiver.
Cons: Output falls to 90.3dB at 25Hz and 79.3dB at 20Hz, so the deepest movie effects are weak. The ported cabinet is 15.4kg and about 42cm tall, 38cm wide and 33cm deep, so it needs real floor space. A 10 inch driver limits output in large rooms. It has no room correction or app control.
