Pros: The Ambeo Plus places effects precisely around the room and sounds musical with stereo music too. It decodes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X through real up-firing drivers, and built-in microphones calibrate it to your space. Two HDMI inputs, optical and RCA give it unusually flexible connections.
Cons: It cannot add rear speakers, so surround relies on processing. Its HDMI inputs do not pass 4K at 120Hz, which matters for gaming consoles. Bass is fuller with the optional Ambeo sub, and it lacks the scale of the Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar Max.
