#2 Samsung HW-Q990F: $998.00 Amazon $998.00 eBay
Pros: This 11.1.4 system includes a wireless sub and two wireless rear speakers with up-firing drivers, giving movies a wide, enveloping sound field with real overhead effects. Dialogue is clear and dynamic, and the dual 8 inch sub delivers rich bass that stays controlled. Two HDMI inputs, Wi-Fi streaming and both Alexa and Google Assistant make it easy to fit into a home theater.
Cons: In a direct comparison, a Sonos Arc Ultra system sounded more natural and its sub played deeper. The front display is hard to read and the styling looks dated. It sounds very close to the newer Samsung HW-Q990H, so choose whichever costs less.
