#1 Nakamichi Dragon: $2,588.00 Amazon $2,588.00 eBay
Pros: This 11.1.6 system pairs a wide bar with two surround speakers that have rotatable up-firing drivers and a large 12 inch wireless sub, so movies get huge scale, precise overhead effects and deep, physical bass. It won The Hook Up’s premium shootout, ahead of Sonos Arc Ultra and Samsung HW-Q990H systems. Three HDMI inputs suit a home theater with several sources.
Cons: The tuning leans thin and forward, and one detailed review found its bass hard and overbearing. There is no Wi-Fi streaming or automatic room correction, so setup takes manual tweaking. The bar and sub are very large and heavy, so plan your space before buying.
