Pros: A single-box Atmos system for people who want big, detailed sound without a separate subwoofer or rear speakers. The Hook Up named it the best bar-only system in its premium shootout for spatial effects and tonal range, and What Hi-Fi? preferred its dynamics and detail over the KEF XIO. Built-in room correction and Wi-Fi 6 streaming make it work as a music system as well.
Cons: It is a deep, heavy slab that cannot sit under many TVs and will not support a TV on top. The Hook Up found its overall performance closer to a cheaper four-piece Samsung system, such as the Samsung HW-Q990H, than its price suggests. There is no DTS:X, only one HDMI eARC connection, no voice assistant and a dated Bluetooth version.
