#24 Amazon Fire TV Soundbar: $99.99 Amazon $99.99 eBay
Pros: The Fire TV Soundbar is a compact, easy upgrade for a smaller TV, with clear dialogue and a Virtual:X mode that spreads sound wider than the bar. In The Hook Up’s budget shootout its balanced tuning placed it in the middle of the pack, ahead of the Sony HT-S100F and Roku Streambar SE.
Cons: Bass is light and vague, so movies lack impact, and it turns harsh when pushed loud. Treble fades early, which dulls detail in music. Despite the name it has no Wi-Fi, no Alexa and no app.
