#42 Perlisten A3m: $3,000/pair Perlisten Dealer Network eBay

Pros: A sealed cabinet, two 8-inch carbon-fiber woofers, 111dB peak capability, and controlled tweeter waveguide make this a high-output monitor. Manufacturer data shows a narrow 1.8dB reference band and smooth sound-power behavior.

Cons: The vendor Spinorama data is low quality and predicts only 85.8Hz at -3dB, which conflicts with Perlisten’s much deeper in-room extension claim. It is large, heavy, 4-ohm nominal, and expensive at $3,000/pair.

How it compares: Just above it: Arendal 1723 Bookshelf S THX - $1501 cheaper, 5.8Hz lower bass extension (-3dB). Just below it: JBL HDI-1600 - $1020 cheaper, 2.4Hz lower bass extension (-3dB).
