Pros: A 12 inch down-firing ported subwoofer with easy automatic room EQ, now discontinued. It has a 12-inch driver with a 225W RMS amplifier and a rated response of 25 to 120Hz. Measured output is 112.3dB in the 40 to 63Hz bands and 100.1dB in the 20 to 31.5Hz bands. The downward-firing port and sturdy cabinet keep port noise low, and the automatic EQ is easy to use.
Cons: Output in the 20 to 31.5Hz bands is 12dB below the 40Hz range, so deep movie effects play quietly. The cabinet is 453.9H x 415.8W x 457.2D mm and weighs 27.7 kg. It is expensive for a 225W subwoofer, and it is discontinued, so it has to be bought used.
