#84 Power Sound Audio (PSA) XV15SE: $2,295 Discontinued eBay

Older model: the Power Sound Audio (PSA) XV15 (rated 4.1/5). See every Power Sound Audio XV generation.

Same family: the Power Sound Audio (PSA) XV15 (smaller subwoofer, rated 4.1/5), the Power Sound Audio (PSA) XV30 (larger subwoofer, ranked higher, rated 4.2/5) and the Power Sound Audio (PSA) XV30F (larger subwoofer, ranked higher, rated 4.2/5).

Pros: A big rear ported 15 inch subwoofer with huge deep bass output for movies in a large room, now discontinued but worth buying used. Published CEA-2010 specifications list 112.3 dB at 20 Hz and 119.6 dB (avg of 3/4 bands) through 40-80 Hz. The ported, rear enclosure with 15” (381mm) driver has the headroom for demanding film bass in a large room.

Cons: The 584.2H x 431.8W x 558.8D mm cabinet and 37.6 kg mass make this a serious placement and moving commitment. Ported output does not solve room modes, so careful placement and calibration remain essential. Discontinued.
