Newer model: the Power Sound Audio (PSA) XV15SE, rated 4.1/5, released 2014 (also discontinued). See every Power Sound Audio XV generation.
Same family: the Power Sound Audio (PSA) XV15SE (larger subwoofer, rated 4.1/5), the Power Sound Audio (PSA) XV30 (larger subwoofer, rated 4.2/5) and the Power Sound Audio (PSA) XV30F (larger subwoofer, rated 4.2/5).
Pros: A down firing 15 inch ported subwoofer with deep, clean, detailed bass that plays loud, now discontinued but worth buying used. It has a 15-inch driver with a 500W RMS, 1000W peak amplifier and is rated from 21 to 200Hz. Measured output averages 119.5dB from 40 to 80Hz and stays at 110.2dB down to 20Hz. It has stereo line level and speaker level inputs, and is built in the United States.
Cons: It weighs 34.0 kg in a 584 x 432 x 559 mm cabinet, so it needs a lot of space. It is discontinued and replaced by the Power Sound Audio (PSA) XV15SE, so it can only be bought used. It is expensive and its inputs are limited to stereo line level and speaker level, with no app or built-in room correction.
