Pros: An affordable ported 10 inch subwoofer with solid output and protective bass limiting, now discontinued. It has a 10 inch ported driver with a custom NAD amplifier rated at 200W continuous. Measured output averages 114.6dB from 40 to 80Hz, with 117.5dB at 63Hz. Bass limiting circuitry protects the driver when pushed hard.
Cons: Output falls quickly in the deep bass, to 94.7dB at 25Hz and 80.8dB at 20Hz, and it is rated 28 to 150Hz, so low movie effects are weak. It weighs 15.4kg in a 445 by 340 by 394mm cabinet. It is discontinued, so it must be bought used. A single 10 inch driver is limited for a large room.
