#136 Monoprice 10in Powered Studio Multimedia: $199 Discontinued eBay
Pros: An affordable 10 inch studio subwoofer with balanced XLR and quarter inch inputs for pairing with studio monitors. It has a 10 inch ported driver with a 200W RMS amplifier and is rated 20 to 150Hz. Measured output averages 110.9dB from 40 to 80Hz. The cabinet is a fairly compact 318 by 368 by 381mm.
Cons: Output drops sharply below 40Hz, to 97.2dB at 31.5Hz and only 73.3dB at 20Hz, so the lowest effects are barely there despite the rated 20Hz. A 110.9dB average is limited for a large room. It has no RCA inputs, and the warranty is only 1 year. It weighs 20kg and is discontinued, so it must be bought used.
