Brand: JTR Speakers
#2 JTR Speakers Orbit Shifter LFU: $6,995 Discontinued eBay
Pros: A huge 18 inch ported subwoofer with enormous deep bass output for large home theaters, now discontinued but worth buying used. Independent CEA-2010 testing records 118.6 dB at 20 Hz and 133.8 dB through 40-80 Hz. The ported, front enclosure with 18” (457mm) driver has the headroom for demanding film bass in a large room.
Cons: The 571.5H x 1270.0W x 914.4D mm cabinet and 80.3 kg mass make this a serious placement and moving commitment. Ported output does not solve room modes, so careful placement and calibration remain essential. Discontinued.
