Coverage note. Speaker Ranking currently covers 13 JTR Speakers models across passive speakers and subwoofers (plus 1 not yet ranked). These are the products in our database, not a complete list of everything JTR Speakers makes.
What this page covers. The JTR Speakers models ranked here span passive speakers and subwoofers, including JTR Speakers Captivator 212PRO, JTR Speakers Orbit Shifter PRO and JTR Speakers Orbit Shifter LFU. Use each model’s category position to compare it with alternatives of the same size and use case.
This page lists all 13 JTR Speakers speakers ranked on this site across passive speakers and subwoofers. Each model is shown in the category where it competes, with its current rank and the size of that ranking.
Use the category position rather than the brand name alone: speakers from the same manufacturer can perform very differently by size, price and product family.
Prices on this page were last checked October 1, 2026 at 6:23 PM UTC. Product prices and availability are accurate as of that date/time and are subject to change; the price and availability shown on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of this product.

Large Size Bookshelf Speakers
Ranked #40 of 134 in Large Size Bookshelf Speakers - JTR Noesis 210HT: $3,998 per pair JTR Speakers eBay
Pros: Exceptionally high-output sealed loudspeaker: Erin measured 92.5dB/2.83V/1m sensitivity, less than 3% distortion at both 86dB and 96dB test levels, and excellent compression behavior. The coaxial compression driver and dual 10-inch woofers cross at roughly 850Hz into a nominal 60° x 60° pattern, keeping radiation controlled enough that broad response errors remain amenable to EQ. Its sealed 12dB/octave bass roll-off simplifies subwoofer integration, while Baltic-birch construction and professional-grade drivers suit reference-level cinema use. Measured bass extension of 76Hz (-3dB), with a measured sensitivity of 92.5dB.
Cons: Erin measured F3 at 76Hz and F10 at 43Hz, so the 210HT is designed to hand bass duties to subwoofers rather than operate full-range. The impedance falls to approximately 3 ohms through 100-200Hz (Erin), making a stable separate amplifier preferable. Midrange resonances and the horn-to-woofer directivity transition raise the predicted in-room treble balance; careful toe-in, room treatment and DSP are advisable. Each enclosure is unusually large and heavy for a stand-mount, and the narrow coverage is less forgiving across a wide seating area.

Large Home Subwoofers (Over 75 lbs)
Ranked #1 of 109 in Large Home Subwoofers (Over 75 lbs) - JTR Speakers Orbit Shifter PRO: $4,499 each JTR Speakers eBay
Pros: Dual 18-inch horn-loaded drivers deliver a class-leading 141.3dB CEA-2010-A average, well beyond any other subwoofer tested. Built for dedicated home theaters chasing reference-level output rather than living-room duty.
Cons: Extremely high price ($4499) and weighs 84 kg: requires dedicated placement and amplifier.

Ranked #6 of 109 in Large Home Subwoofers (Over 75 lbs) - JTR Speakers Captivator 4000ULF: $5,699 each JTR Speakers eBay
Pros: Independent CEA-2010 testing records 122.3 dB at 20 Hz and 130.8 dB through 40-80 Hz. The ported, front enclosure with 2x 18” (457mm) driver has the headroom for demanding film bass in a large room.
Cons: The 1041.4H x 520.7W x 1003.3D mm cabinet and 120.2 kg mass make this a serious placement and moving commitment. Ported output does not solve room modes, so careful placement and calibration remain essential.

Ranked #7 of 109 in Large Home Subwoofers (Over 75 lbs) - JTR Speakers Captivator 215PRO: $3,500 JTR Speakers eBay
Pros: Independent CEA-2010 testing records 106.6 dB at 20 Hz and 130.7 dB through 40-80 Hz. The ported, front enclosure with 2x 15” (381mm) drivers delivers formidable upper-bass output for movie effects and music.
Cons: Deep-bass output is more limited than the strong 40-80 Hz result suggests, so it is not the right choice when the lowest movie effects are the priority. The 1016.0H x 457.2W x 762.0D mm cabinet and 67.6 kg mass still require deliberate placement and calibration.

Ranked #28 of 109 in Large Home Subwoofers (Over 75 lbs) - JTR Speakers Captivator 1400: $2,495 Discontinued eBay
Pros: Independent CEA-2010 testing records 116.1 dB at 20 Hz and 125.2 dB through 40-80 Hz. The ported, front enclosure with 18” (457mm) driver has the headroom for demanding film bass in a large room.
Cons: The 508.0H x 762.0W x 571.5D mm cabinet and 64.4 kg mass make this a serious placement and moving commitment. Ported output does not solve room modes, so careful placement and calibration remain essential. Discontinued.

JTR Speakers Models Not Yet Ranked
Newer or recently added JTR Speakers models we track but haven’t ranked yet, because no measurements we can rank them on have been published. See speakers not yet ranked for how that works.
Not yet ranked - JTR Kallos 12Sub: $3,699 JTR Speakers eBay
Pros: A compact sealed subwoofer with a 12-inch driver and a 2,000W RMS Class D amplifier, with DSP tuning for a smooth response and high output. JTR rates it at 22Hz to 800Hz within 3dB outdoors, with in-room gain extending it lower. The cabinet is stacked Baltic birch, about 48cm square and 32cm deep.
Cons: Erin’s Audio Corner tested it outdoors on video, but CEA-2010 output figures in the form the other subwoofers here are ranked on haven’t been published, so it can’t be placed against them. At $3,699 it is expensive for a single 12-inch subwoofer, and it is sold mainly direct from JTR.
