#206 JBL SUB 550P: $600 Discontinued eBay

Pros: A discontinued sealed 10 inch subwoofer with a 300 watt amp, multiple line inputs and an adjustable crossover. 10-inch sealed with 300W RMS delivers low distortion realistic bass compared to cheaper options. Deep bass response similar to larger 12” models. Multiple line-level inputs and adjustable crossover control.

Cons: Bass is strong to about 30Hz but 10dB down there against the 60 to 80Hz range. The sealed Monoprice Monolith 10 THX Select plays 4dB louder at 30Hz and 7dB louder at 20Hz for about $150 more. The reviewer would skip it if the price climbed to $500 or more. Discontinued.
